The Blue Lagoon Resort is a recently built luxurious complex, with 600 guestrooms; one-storey main building, six two-storey accommodation buildings, and three satellite buildings built nearby the sandy beach, only 2 km from Kos Town. The Recreation and Seminar building forms a spectacular gateway to the gardens and the rest of the complex. Characterised by a lightweight roof canopy, the architecture kept the use of natural lighting and the integration with the environment.
